Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mogex mobile application and related services (“Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Mogex provides tools for facial analysis, scores, educational-style breakdowns, optional community features, and related in-app content. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Not medical or professional advice
Mogex is for entertainment and general self-improvement information only. It is not medical, dental, psychological, or professional advice. Do not use the Service to diagnose or treat any condition. For health concerns, consult a qualified professional.
3. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features may be offered through in-app purchases. On iOS, billing is handled by Apple (App Store); on Android, by Google Play. Prices, renewals, cancellations, and refunds follow the platform’s terms and your account settings with that platform. Mogex does not charge your card directly; the platform processes payment. Subscription status may be checked through our integration with RevenueCat.
5. User content
You retain rights to photos and content you submit. You grant us a license to use, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service (including analysis and optional backup or community features you use). Do not submit images of others without their permission where required by law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate law or others’ rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, exploit, or harm anyone.
- Circumvent payment or access controls.
- Upload unlawful, abusive, or non-consensual imagery.
7. Community
If we offer community or social features, additional rules may apply (see our Community page). We may moderate or remove content or access where needed to protect users or the Service.
8. Intellectual property
Mogex name, branding, software, and content (excluding your submissions) are owned by us or our licensors. Do not copy or misuse them without permission.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE THROUGH THE PLATFORM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms, where allowed by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Mogex, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s law. Consumer protection laws in your country may give you mandatory rights that cannot be waived; nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
