Overview
Mogex respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, when we share it, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Mogex, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Face photos uploaded by users for analysis
- Analysis results generated from uploaded photos
- Basic account information such as email address and sign-in identifiers
- App usage data needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service
Face Data
Mogex collects face photos that users voluntarily upload for analysis, as well as analysis results derived from those photos.
Face data is used only to:
- Analyze visible facial traits such as symmetry, facial structure, skin quality, and related appearance metrics
- Generate personalized scores, insights, and recommendations
- Display scan results, scan history, and progress-related features when available
- Support account-based result storage and retrieval when a user signs in
Mogex does not use face data for identity recognition, identity verification, surveillance, law enforcement, or advertising profiling.
Third-Party Processing and Sharing
Face photos and related analysis data may be processed by third-party service providers that help us operate the app, provide storage, and generate analysis results.
These providers include:
- Supabase, for cloud database and storage infrastructure
- OpenAI, for generating analysis results from uploaded images and related inputs
We share face data only with service providers that are necessary to operate the app and deliver its features. These providers are required to handle data securely and only for the intended purpose.
Where Data Is Stored
Uploaded face photos and related analysis results may be stored in secure cloud infrastructure used by Mogex, including storage and database systems provided by Supabase.
Storage and Retention
Uploaded face photos may be stored to support result display, scan history, account-linked access, and progress-related features.
Uploaded face photos are retained for 30 days, unless the user deletes their account or data earlier.
Derived analysis results are retained until the user deletes their account, in order to support saved results, progress features, and account-based functionality.
If a third-party provider temporarily stores face data while processing it, such storage is limited to the period reasonably necessary for processing under that provider’s service terms and infrastructure practices.
Mogex does not retain face data indefinitely.
Data Use
We may use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the Mogex app
- Generate scan results and personalized recommendations
- Store scan history and progress-related data where available
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot app issues
- Improve product quality and performance
User Control
Users can:
- Delete their account
- Request removal of stored data
- Stop using the service at any time
If you would like your data deleted, you can use the in-app account deletion feature or contact us at support@mogex.app.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Children’s Privacy
Mogex is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
